Tiamari Whitted aka Miss Twhitted, much like myself started her journey in entertainment as an intern at Def Jam Records. A brilliant experience as she’s explained to me several times in the past. Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage in the show, does a phenomenal job portraying the Marvel superhero. He is accompanied by a wonderful and talented prominently African American cast including Alfred…

MTV 2016 VMAs: Favorite Looks

For all my fellow fashion lovers out there, this post is for you…

Unlike most people, I honestly pay very little attention to awards shows; the winners, the performances… Ya know, the actual content of the shows. I’m more focused on what designers each celebrity is wearing on the red carpet. Whether on the runway at fashion shows or the red carpet at award, and big events and ceremonies, these looks are where everyone grabs inspiration and a head start for the next season. Here’s some of my favorite looks from the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards recently held on Sunday, August 28, at Madison Square Garden in NYC.

New Music: Kehlani’s “24/7” Gets All Of Our Respect

“You gotta lose you just a little” My first initial reaction to this song… So real quick, I’m stripping away the journalistic tone of my writing and going to take the time to get a little transparent for those who are interested in reading. The Return: Grafh Album Listening Session In NYC

Earlier this week in NYC, 40 Ludlow was feeling much like a movie scene as the bold, the beautiful, and the fly, all came out to Grafh’s listening session for Painkillers Reloaded.

The unity of Dxpe Gang could be heard throughout the streets of LES as the turn up rang out!

Some of Hip Hop’s finest came through to show love to the project such as:

LHHNY’s very own Yandy Smith & Bianca photo’d with Ruff Ryders CEO Darin “Dee” Dean.

Celebrity journalist Shaheem Reid couldn’t have stepped in at a better time. And from the video we’d have to say, madness is an understatement!

Sponsored  by Bleu Royal, not only do we have fist bumps for the album, but we’ve gotta show love to Dxpe Gang for throwing such a great event. Much #Respect!

Check out more photo’s from the event below and special thanks to visual curator Calligrafist for the amazing shots!
