The Level Up: Respect The Pound Host ‘Pieces’ Private Screening Event In NYC

If you’ve been following Respect The Pound for a while, you will know that we love web series here and ‘Pieces’ is one of many that we love. Last week, RTP had the pleasure to organize a private screening for the creators, the cast and the supporters of the series.

There were media outlets such as The Culture Plug, Driven Society and Seriesly Podcast in the building. Vodkila had the drinks flowing all night and there were many sponsors in attendance.

Supporters got to ask the creator Reem Baptiste and his wife, the executive producer Streetsy Baptiste about the development of the hit series and what are the next steps they see the ‘Pieces’ brand taking.

Supporters also got the chance to ask the cast a few questions such as how is it working with each other, how much can they relate to the character they are playing and one interesting question that was asked, was directed towards ‘Max’ who is now the leading lady of the series; the audience member asked how did she prepare herself to be the main character of the series.

Fred The Godson and Harlem’s own Jaquae were amongst the crowd of people who came through to show their support.

Besides having a good time and mingling with the cast, supporters got the chance to check out the first episode of season 3 and it is safe to say that you will be talking about ‘Pieces’ after seeing the first episode. Plus the trailer alone will have you wanting to tune in religiously for the rest of the season.
